História
União de Santarém, founded in 1911 in Santarém, is a Ribatejo football reference. Liga 3 spells and district tradition shaped Santarena identity. Colours and the União nickname link the club to the district capital and the Tagus. Campo Chãs d'Ourique hosts supporters; Ribatejo rivalries and competitive cycles shape daily life. Youth work and community roots keep União de Santarém on the Portuguese football map between Lisbon and the interior. Local identity, player development and the bond with supporters continue to define the club's path in contemporary football.
