History
1.º Dezembro Futebol Clube, founded in 1914 in Sintra, is nationally known for elite women's football and Sintra sporting tradition. On the men's side it typically contests Liga 3 and district football with strong local identity. Colours and the 1 December date link the club to parish and Sintra municipality history. Estádio Manuel Marques (shared operational records) and Sintra grounds host activity; Greater Lisbon rivalries shape daily life. Development work — especially women's — and community roots keep 1.º Dezembro on the Portuguese football map.
