História
FC Marco 09, founded in 2009 in Marco de Canaveses, inherits local football tradition after club reorganisations in the Tâmega. Liga 3 spells and ambition for professional stability marked the recent story. Colours and Marcuense identity link the club to the Porto-district city. Estádio Municipal de Marco de Canaveses hosts supporters; Tâmega rivalries and development cycles shape daily life. Community roots and a modern project keep Marco 09 on the contemporary Portuguese football map. Local identity, player development and the bond with supporters continue to define the club's path in contemporary football.
