History
Deportivo Cali, founded in 1948 in Cali and Valle, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as Sugarcane Growers, it collected Colombian titles and green-white tradition. Rivalry with América de Cali (Clásico vallecaucano) and a green and white identity shape fans and narrative. Estadio Deportivo Cali, local support and Azucareros and Estadio Deportivo Cali sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals. The sporting project balances a memory of triumphs with the demands of the modern elite.
