História
BSG Chemie Leipzig, founded in 1997 in Leutzsch, Leipzig, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as the Chemiker, it collected the 1997 refounding and Alfred-Kunze-Sportpark in Leutzsch (ground tradition; DDR titles are not assigned to this entity). Rivalry with os outros clubes de Leipzig and a green and white identity shape fans and narrative. Alfred-Kunze-Sportpark, local support and Alfred-Kunze-Sportpark sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals.
