Wimbledon FC started as a local answer to a simple need: a team for Londres to call its own. Whatever the precise start date, Wimbledon FC feels woven into the sporting habits of Londres. Outside the spotlight of the biggest leagues, that rhythm of grind and pride is the whole point. When Wimbledon FC play at Plough Lane, the stands hold roughly 15,200 — numbers that matter less than the noise the regulars make.
