History
Sporting Fingal FC belongs to Dublin, Ireland the way a neighbourhood pitch belongs to its streets. Since 2008 the name has stayed on team sheets, programmes and dressing-room doors. They move through the domestic pyramid as form and finances allow, like so many clubs of their size. Home games are tied to Morton Stadium, a ground listed around 2,500 seats — big enough to roar, small enough to feel close. Strip away the big-club noise and sides like Sporting Fingal FC are why the sport still feels close to the ground.
