Shirak SC II is one of those clubs that quietly keep the game alive in Armenia. Going back to 1958, the side has seen the game change around it while keeping a local core. Most seasons they line up in Armenian First League, where results swing between hope and hard lessons. When Shirak SC II play at Gyumri City Stadium, the stands hold roughly 2,800 — numbers that matter less than the noise the regulars make.
