History
Ask anyone around Toulon about local football and SC Toulon usually comes up sooner or later. Founded in 1944, it has had enough time to collect memories, nicknames and small legends. Some years bring promotion pushes; others are about staying upright and paying the bills. Matchdays revolve around Stade de Bon Rencontre (about 8,000 capacity), with the usual mix of season tickets, walk-ups and family groups. If football is a map of cities and towns, SC Toulon is one clear pin in France.
