History

SC Beira-Mar, founded in 1922 in Aveiro, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as the Auri-negros of Aveiro, it collected second-division titles, a Taça de Portugal and European nights from Aveiro. Rivalry with os clubes beirões e do litoral centro and a yellow and black identity shape fans and narrative. Estádio Municipal de Aveiro, local support and Aveiro's municipal stadium as a Primeira Liga and UEFA stage sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals.
