Crest meaning
The crest of Roosevelt FC is the picture people know before they know the squad. Colours, lettering and the overall shape do the heavy lifting; nobody needs a lecture to feel what it stands for. Seen that way, the emblem of Roosevelt FC is simply the club from San Juan, Puerto Rico, drawn small enough to fit on a chest.

History
If you follow the lower and mid tiers of Puerto Rico, you will bump into Roosevelt FC soon enough. Going back to 1965, the side has seen the game change around it while keeping a local core. They move through the domestic pyramid as form and finances allow, like so many clubs of their size. Home games are tied to Estadio Sixto Escobar, a ground listed around 18,000 seats — big enough to roar, small enough to feel close. Strip away the big-club noise and sides like Roosevelt FC are why the sport still feels close to the ground.
