History
Roda JC Kerkrade started as a local answer to a simple need: a team for Kerkrade to call its own. The club dates back to 1962, a year that still anchors how older fans talk about its beginnings. In Eerste Divisie they share the calendar with regional rivals and the occasional surprise cup run. When Roda JC Kerkrade play at Parkstad Limburg Stadion, the stands hold roughly 19,979 — numbers that matter less than the noise the regulars make.
