History
Palermo FC, founded in 1900 in Palermo and Sicily, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as Pink-and-Blacks, it collected Serie A campaigns, Coppa Italia finals and rosanero tradition. Rivalry with Catania (derby da Sicília) and a pink and black identity shape fans and narrative. Stadio Renzo Barbera, local support and Sicily and Renzo Barbera sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals. The sporting project balances a memory of triumphs with the demands of the modern elite.
