História
Montrose FC, founded in 1879 in Montrose, Angus, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as the Gable Endies, it collected the 1879 founding, Links Park and Scottish League One on the Angus coast. Rivalry with o Forfar Athletic, no derby de Angus and a blue and red identity shape fans and narrative. Links Park, local support and Links Park sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals. The sporting project balances a memory of triumphs with the demands of the modern elite.
