History
In Roterdão, Netherlands, Jong Sparta Rotterdam has long been part of weekend football life. Its foundation year, 2005, places it among the clubs that helped shape organised football in the area. Their usual stage is Tweede Divisie, a competition that rewards consistency more than glamour. Home games are tied to Sparta Stadion Het Kasteel, a ground listed around 11,026 seats — big enough to roar, small enough to feel close. Strip away the big-club noise and sides like Jong Sparta Rotterdam are why the sport still feels close to the ground.
