History
Girona Futbol Club, founded in 1930 in Girona (Catalonia), established itself in La Liga in the 2010s–2020s with promotion campaigns and top-flight consolidation. Known for red and white colours, it plays at Estadi Montilivi and became a modern Catalan project reference, with Champions League participation. Catalan rivalries and Segunda–La Liga cycles shape the story. Youth work and Girona identity keep the club on the contemporary Spanish football map. The index prioritises verifiable founding, stadium, colours, nickname and competitive path. Editorial copy avoids generic filler and centres on identity and competition facts.
