História
CD Fontinhas, founded in 1975 in Fontinhas, Praia da Vitória, Terceira Island (Azores), is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as the red-and-black of Fontinhas, it collected the 2019 Azores championship and a 2021–22 Campeonato de Portugal runners-up finish. Rivalry with o Praiense, na mesma ilha Terceira and a red and black identity shape fans and narrative. Campo Municipal Dr. Durval Monteiro, local support and Campo Municipal Dr. Durval Monteiro sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals.
