History
Air India FC started as a local answer to a simple need: a team for Mumbai to call its own. Going back to 1952, the side has seen the game change around it while keeping a local core. Outside the spotlight of the biggest leagues, that rhythm of grind and pride is the whole point. When Air India FC play at Cooperage Ground, the stands hold roughly 5,000 — numbers that matter less than the noise the regulars make. Write the history in big headlines or in quiet paragraphs; either way, Air India FC belongs to Mumbai, India.
