Significado do emblema
Santos's crest features black-and-white stripes and stars referring to titles on an alvinegro Baixada shield. It should not be reduced to a «Pelé crown» as the sole meaning. It summarises coastal tradition, a football school and world standing linked to the 1960s and Peixe identity.

História
Santos Futebol Clube was founded in 1912 in the Baixada Santista and became synonymous with the Pelé era, with Brazilian titles, Libertadores and world crowns in the 1960s. Vila Belmiro (Estádio Urbano Caldeira) is the historic home. Black and white identify the Peixe; Paulista classics structure the calendar. A tradition of producing talent and the world legacy of the golden years mark Santos identity, with continued presence in Brazilian football across more than a century despite distinct cycles of success and recent institutional difficulties.
