História
Northampton Town FC, founded in 1897 in Northampton, East Midlands, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as the Cobblers, it collected the 1965–66 First Division season and the Nene derby with Peterborough. Rivalry with Peterborough United and a claret and white identity shape fans and narrative. Sixfields Stadium, local support and Sixfields Stadium sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals. The sporting project balances a memory of triumphs with the demands of the modern elite.
