História
Cape Town Spurs FC is one of those clubs that quietly keep the game alive in South Africa. Since 2020 the name has stayed on team sheets, programmes and dressing-room doors. Playing in Motsepe Foundation Championship means midweek travel, tight budgets and crowds that know every player by name. When Cape Town Spurs FC play at Athlone Stadium, the stands hold roughly 24,000 — numbers that matter less than the noise the regulars make. Write the history in big headlines or in quiet paragraphs; either way, Cape Town Spurs FC belongs to Cidade do Cabo, South Africa.
