Wydad Athletic Club, founded in 1937 in Casablanca, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as Wydadi, it collected multiple CAF Champions titles, Botola titles and Moroccan hegemony. Rivalry with Raja Casablanca (Derby de Casablanca) and a red and white identity shape fans and narrative.
