History
Football in Wellington would look thinner without sides like Wellington Phoenix Reserves. Its foundation year, 2007, places it among the clubs that helped shape organised football in the area. Their usual stage is National League — Championship Phase, a competition that rewards consistency more than glamour. Sky Stadium is where the colours gather. Capacity sits near 34,000, and on a good afternoon it still feels intimate. People who love the game for its texture — not only its trophies — will recognise Wellington Phoenix Reserves immediately.
