History
Waterford FC, founded in 1930 in Waterford and the south-east, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as Blues, it collected historic League of Ireland titles and south-east tradition. Rivalry with Cork City e clubes de Munster and a blue and white identity shape fans and narrative. Waterford Regional Sports Centre, local support and Blues and the RSC sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals. The sporting project balances a memory of triumphs with the demands of the modern elite.
