Crest meaning
The Víkingur Reykjavík crest combines red and black with Víkin red-and-black. The badge marks Reykjavík and the Vikings tradition, distinct from generic filler. The shield summarises triumphs, rivalries and local pride in contemporary football. Colours, mascot and place on the local map keep the badge off an empty template.

History
Víkingur Reykjavík, founded in 1906 in Reykjavík, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as the Vikings, it collected the 2021 and 2023 Icelandic championships, recent cups and the Víkin ground. Rivalry with KR e Valur, nos derbies de Reiquiavique and a red and black identity shape fans and narrative. Víkin, local support and Víkin sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals. The sporting project balances a memory of triumphs with the demands of the modern elite.
