History
Víkingur Gøta, founded in 2008 in Gøta, Eysturoy, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as Víkingur, it collected the 2008 merger (GÍ Gøta and Leirvík ÍF), Faroese championships and Serpugerði. Rivalry with HB, B36, NSÍ e KÍ and a black and white identity shape fans and narrative.
