History
US Lecce, founded in 1908 in Lecce and Salento, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as Yellow-Reds, it collected Serie A promotions and southern Apulian pride. Rivalry with Bari (derby das Puglie) and a yellow and red identity shape fans and narrative. Stadio Via del Mare, local support and Salento and Via del Mare sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals. The sporting project balances a memory of triumphs with the demands of the modern elite.
