History
US Fonctionnaires is one of those clubs that quietly keep the game alive in Mali. Going back to 1945, the side has seen the game change around it while keeping a local core. Outside the spotlight of the biggest leagues, that rhythm of grind and pride is the whole point. When US Fonctionnaires play at Stade Modibo Keita, the stands hold roughly 35,000 — numbers that matter less than the noise the regulars make. Write the history in big headlines or in quiet paragraphs; either way, US Fonctionnaires belongs to Bamako, Mali.
