History
US Avellino 1912, founded in 1912 in Avellino, Campania, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as the Lupi / Biancoverdi, it collected 1970s–80s Serie A seasons and the Partenio; post-bankruptcy reconstitutions kept the identity. Rivalry with os clubes da Campânia and a green and white identity shape fans and narrative. Stadio Partenio-Adriano Lombardi, local support and Partenio-Adriano Lombardi sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals.
