History
Unitech FC started as a local answer to a simple need: a team for Lae to call its own. Going back to 2000, the side has seen the game change around it while keeping a local core. Most seasons they line up in National Soccer League (histórico), where results swing between hope and hard lessons. When Unitech FC play at National Sports Institute, the stands hold roughly 5,000 — numbers that matter less than the noise the regulars make. Write the history in big headlines or in quiet paragraphs; either way, Unitech FC belongs to Lae, Papua New Guinea.
