Crest meaning
The Umeå FC crest combines black and yellow with Umeå Energi Arena yellow. The badge marks Umeå and UFC tradition, distinct from generic filler. The shield summarises triumphs, rivalries and local pride in contemporary football. Colours and place on the local map keep the badge off an empty template.
History
Umeå FC, founded in 1987 in Umeå, competes in national football with a marked continental presence. Known as UFC, it collected the 1987 identity and Umeå Energi Arena (formerly Gammliavallen, opened 1925) — not the municipal-stadium stub. Rivalry with GIF Sundsvall, Team TG e os clubes da Superettan/Ettan and a black and yellow identity shape fans and narrative. Umeå Energi Arena, local support and Umeå Energi Arena sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals.
