História
UD Las Palmas, founded in 1949 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as la Unión Deportiva / the Amarillos, it collected several Primera seasons and the Canary derby with Tenerife. Rivalry with o CD Tenerife and a yellow and blue identity shape fans and narrative. Estadio Gran Canaria, local support and Estadio Gran Canaria sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals. The sporting project balances a memory of triumphs with the demands of the modern elite.
