History
TSV 1860 München, founded in 1860 in Munich, Bavaria, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as die Löwen, it collected the 1966 German championship, the 1964 DFB-Pokal and Grünwalder Straße as the current home. Rivalry with o Bayern de Munique, no Münchner Stadtderby and a sky blue and white identity shape fans and narrative. Städtisches Stadion an der Grünwalder Straße, local support and Grünwalder Straße sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals.
