História
SV Drochtersen/Assel, founded in 1977 in Drochtersen, Lower Saxony, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as Drochtersen/Assel, it collected the 19 April 1977 merger (TVG Drochtersen and VTV Assel), Lower Saxony Cups in 2016, 2018 and 2019, and DFB-Pokal home ties vs Bayern (0–1, 2018–19) and Mönchengladbach (0–1, 2016–17).
