Crest meaning

History
SV Darmstadt 98, founded in 1898 in Darmstadt, Hesse, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as the Lilies, it collected Bundesliga promotions and Lilien identity. Rivalry with Kickers Offenbach and a blue and white identity shape fans and narrative. Merck-Stadion am Böllenfalltor, local support and Böllenfalltor and promotion cycles sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals. The sporting project balances a memory of triumphs with the demands of the modern elite.
