History
Sporting Cristal, founded in 1955 in Lima and Rímac, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as Sky Blues, it collected Liga 1 titles and Peruvian sky-blue tradition. Rivalry with Alianza e Universitario and a sky blue and white identity shape fans and narrative. Estadio Alberto Gallardo, local support and Bajopontinos and Alberto Gallardo sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals. The sporting project balances a memory of triumphs with the demands of the modern elite.
