História
Shanghai Port FC started as a local answer to a simple need: a team for Xangai to call its own. Since 2005 the name has stayed on team sheets, programmes and dressing-room doors. Playing in Chinese Super League means midweek travel, tight budgets and crowds that know every player by name. When Shanghai Port FC play at Pudong Football Stadium, the stands hold roughly 37,000 — numbers that matter less than the noise the regulars make. Write the history in big headlines or in quiet paragraphs; either way, Shanghai Port FC belongs to Xangai, China.
