Crest meaning
São Paulo's crest features horizontal red, white and black stripes — club colours from the founding merger — and stars referring to world titles. A racialised «three races» reading is not the appropriate heraldic explanation. The badge summarises Tricolor Paulista tradition and the club's world standing.
