History
Recreativo de Huelva, founded in 1889 in Huelva, Andalusia, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as the Decano / Recre, it collected the 18 December 1889 founding (Spain's oldest football club), five Primera División seasons and the 2003 Copa del Rey final (0–3 vs Mallorca). Rivalry with os clubes andaluzes and a white and blue identity shape fans and narrative. Nuevo Colombino, local support and Nuevo Colombino sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals.
