History
Real Club Deportivo Mallorca, founded in 1916 in Palma, is the Balearic Islands' main club. La Liga spells, the 2003 Copa del Rey and European campaigns marked bermellona identity. Red and black colours and Balearic rivalry define the club. Estadi Mallorca Son Moix hosts supporters; top-flight and Segunda cycles shape daily life. Youth work and sports tourism keep Mallorca on the Spanish and Mediterranean football map. Local identity, player development and the bond with supporters continue to define the club's path in contemporary European football.
