History
Rathfriland Rangers FC started as a local answer to a simple need: a team for Rathfriland to call its own. Going back to 1962, the side has seen the game change around it while keeping a local core. Most seasons they line up in NIFL Premier Intermediate League, where results swing between hope and hard lessons. When Rathfriland Rangers FC play at Rathfriland Park, the stands hold roughly 1,000 — numbers that matter less than the noise the regulars make. That mix of place, patience and belonging is what makes Rathfriland Rangers FC matter beyond the final score.
