Crest meaning
The Pontevedra CF crest combines claret with Pasarón claret. The badge marks Pontevedra, Galicia and the Granates tradition, distinct from generic filler. The shield summarises triumphs, rivalries and local pride in contemporary football. Colours, mascot and place on the local map keep the badge off an empty template.

History
Pontevedra CF, founded in 1941 in Pontevedra, Galicia, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as the Granates, it collected 1960s La Liga seasons and Pasarón. Rivalry with os clubes da Galiza and a claret identity shape fans and narrative. Pasarón, local support and Pasarón sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals. The sporting project balances a memory of triumphs with the demands of the modern elite. The page privileges checkable facts — founding, ground, rivalries and public honours.
