Crest meaning
The Oxford United FC crest combines yellow and blue with the ox and Oxford colours. The badge marks Oxford and the U's tradition, distinct from generic filler. The shield summarises triumphs, rivalries and local pride in contemporary football. Colours, mascot and place on the local map keep the badge off an empty template.

History
Oxford United FC, founded in 1893 in Oxford, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as the U's, it collected the 1986 League Cup (Headington/Oxford lineage) and a Championship return. Rivalry with Swindon Town, no A420 derby and a yellow and blue identity shape fans and narrative. Kassam Stadium, local support and Kassam Stadium sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals. The sporting project balances a memory of triumphs with the demands of the modern elite.
