History
Naft Tehran FC is one of those clubs that quietly keep the game alive in Iran. Since 1950 the name has stayed on team sheets, programmes and dressing-room doors. Outside the spotlight of the biggest leagues, that rhythm of grind and pride is the whole point. When Naft Tehran FC play at Takhti Tehran Stadium, the stands hold roughly 30,000 — numbers that matter less than the noise the regulars make. Write the history in big headlines or in quiet paragraphs; either way, Naft Tehran FC belongs to Teerão, Iran.
