NAC Breda, founded in 1912 in Breda, North Brabant, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as the Pearl of the South, it collected the 1973 KNVB Cup and long Eredivisie / Eerste Divisie cycles. Rivalry with Willem II, no derby do Brabante and a yellow and black identity shape fans and narrative. Rat Verlegh Stadion, local support and Rat Verlegh Stadion sustain the contemporary project.
