MŠK Púchov, founded in 1921 in Púchov, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as Púchov, it collected the 1–1 first leg of the 2003–04 UEFA Cup vs Barcelona (24 September 2003, Anton Malatinský in Trnava, Milan Jambor; 0–8 in the second leg) and 2. liga cycles.
