History
Michael Olunga Football Academy belongs to Homa Bay, Kenya the way a neighbourhood pitch belongs to its streets. Founded in 2021, it has had enough time to collect memories, nicknames and small legends. FKF National Super League has been the league home for large stretches of their recent history. Home games are tied to Raila Odinga Stadium, a ground listed around 5,000 seats — big enough to roar, small enough to feel close. Strip away the big-club noise and sides like Michael Olunga Football Academy are why the sport still feels close to the ground.
