Crest meaning
Fans read the Mervue United AFC crest the way they read a street sign: quick, familiar, local. Away from corporate redesign talk, the badge still means Saturday nerves, local derbies and shared pride. In other words, the badge is not decoration — it is how Mervue United AFC shows up in the world.

History
In Galway, Ireland, Mervue United AFC has long been part of weekend football life. Its foundation year, 1960, places it among the clubs that helped shape organised football in the area. They move through the domestic pyramid as form and finances allow, like so many clubs of their size. Home games are tied to Fahy's Field, a ground listed around 2,700 seats — big enough to roar, small enough to feel close. In short: a club from Galway, carrying Ireland football one season at a time.
