History
Kuala Lumpur City FC started as a local answer to a simple need: a team for Kuala Lumpur to call its own. Founded in 1974, it has had enough time to collect memories, nicknames and small legends. Malaysia Super League has been the league home for large stretches of their recent history. When Kuala Lumpur City FC play at Stadium KL City, the stands hold roughly 6,000 — numbers that matter less than the noise the regulars make. Write the history in big headlines or in quiet paragraphs; either way, Kuala Lumpur City FC belongs to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
