History

Koninklijke HFC, founded in 1879 in Haarlem, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as Koninklijke HFC / Haarlemsche FC, it collected the Netherlands' oldest existing football club (15 September 1879, Pim Mulier); three unofficial championships (1889–90, 1892–93, 1894–95), three KNVB Cups (1903–04, 1912–13, 1914–15) and the royal predicate since 1959. Rivalry with AFC, ADO '20 e os clubes da Tweede Divisie and a white and blue identity shape fans and narrative. Sportpark Spanjaardslaan, local support and Sportpark Spanjaardslaan sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals.
